Finance Analyst

At Rivoir, you will develop into a broad finance professional who understands how financial administration, project financing and investments come together within complex infrastructure projects.

Fulltime, Amsterdam

What does this position look like?

At Rivoir, you will learn how finance really contributes to successful infrastructure projects. That is why the position of Finance Analyst combines two disciplines. You will develop within both Project Finance and Financial Control and discover how financial administration, project finance, governance, investments and reporting come together within one project environment.

As a Finance Analyst, you will contribute to the financial performance of some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and Europe. At the same time, you contribute to the Financial Control of our own organization.

You analyse financial information, contribute to reports and models and support financial and strategic issues. In doing so, you will not only learn how figures are created, but especially how financial choices contribute to healthy, predictable and future-proof projects.

This position is a great next step for Financial Analysts, Assistant Controllers and Junior Controllers who want to develop broadly within Finance.

Within Project Finance, you will support the financial performance of long-term infrastructure and concession projects. You will work on financial models, budgets, forecasts, reports, business cases and financing issues.

Within Financial Control, you contribute to Rivoir's reliable financial administration and reporting. You support with closings, audits, financial statements, compliance and improving financial processes, among other things.

You will work closely with Project Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Investment Managers, Business Managers and Asset Managers. As you grow in knowledge, independence and ownership, you get more and more responsibility.

No day is the same. One day you are analyzing a financial model or supporting a business case. The next day, you will contribute to a quarterly report, forecast, audit or year-end closing.

In this way, you develop a broad financial basis step by step and you can grow towards Project Finance Manager or Financial Controller.

What will you do?

  • You will support Project Finance Managers in the financial performance of one or more concession projects.

  • You maintain and analyze financial project models.

  • You will contribute to budgets, forecasts and financial analyses.

  • You prepare reports for shareholders, banks, management and other stakeholders.

  • You will support treasury activities, financing issues, business cases and investment analyses.

  • You contribute to the financial administration and participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

  • You support management reports, audit work, financial statements, tax work and compliance.

  • You identify financial deviations, risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • You actively contribute to improving and standardizing financial processes, governance and reporting.
