Project Finance Manager | Infrastructure Investments

At Rivoir, you are much more than a financial specialist. You are the financial sparring partner who translates complex analyses into strategic decisions, contributing to the performance of some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and Europe.

Full-time · Amsterdam

As a Project Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial performance of some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and Europe. From highways and public buildings to sustainable energy projects: you ensure that these long-term investments remain financially healthy and future-proof.

You will work together with investors, banks, shareholders and multidisciplinary project teams. You analyze complex financial issues, translate insights into strategic choices and contribute directly to infrastructure that millions of people use every day.

This is how you make an impact. Not only on projects, but also on society.

About the position

At Rivoir, we manage infrastructure projects throughout their entire lifecycle. That means that our work doesn't stop once a project is built. On the contrary. Over decades-long concession periods, we ensure that projects continue to perform in a financially sound way and continue to create value.

As a Project Finance Manager, you are responsible for one or more concession projects that are housed in a Special Purpose Company (SPC). You are the financial sparring partner of Investment Managers, Business Managers, Asset Managers and external stakeholders such as shareholders, banks, accountants and advisors.

You combine financial analysis, project finance, treasury, governance and stakeholder management to keep projects predictable and manageable. In doing so, you look beyond the numbers alone. You understand how contracts, financing, risks and operational performance influence each other and translate this coherence into clear advice and concrete actions.

No day is the same. One day you are working on a financial model or quarterly report, the next day you are discussing a business case with investors or advising a project team on financial risks and opportunities.

You will be given a lot of responsibility, a lot of freedom and the opportunity to develop yourself further within complex infrastructure and investment projects.

What will you do?

  • You are responsible for the financial performance of one or more concession projects.

  • You develop, maintain and analyze financial project models.

  • You draw up budgets, forecasts and management reports.

  • You monitor financing agreements, covenants and treasury activities.

  • You provide reports for shareholders, banks and management.

  • You advise project teams on financial risks, opportunities and scenarios.

  • You will support refinancing, business cases and investment issues.

  • You maintain relationships with banks, shareholders, accountants and external advisors.

  • You actively contribute to improving financial processes, governance and reporting.

"Behind every successful infrastructure project is a finance professional who looks beyond the numbers."

Dylan Kuiper, Finance Director
